Nissan 2011 February Sales Increased;
Global production for Nissan and Infiniti models which can be found at an Infiniti Dealership Westborough have increased for February of 2011 compared to 2010. Sales were up 21.7% for the year showing signs of growth for Nissan and its luxury Infiniti linup. Previously owned Nissan and Infiniti automobiles can be seen at a Woburn MA Used Cars dealership, and these sales were not included in the total for February as reported by Nissan. Other used models can be purchased from a Used Car Dealer Clovis from Nissan and other brands.
Production in Japan decreased 3.8% on the year due to the end of a government incentive program for environmentally friendly automobiles. Export models have increased in demand, but the lack of the government program had a strong effect and reduced production of models in Japan. Production has further been hindered in the month of March by the earthquake that has devastated critical parts of Japan, and other automakers including Toyota and Honda have also been affected by the earthquake. Mexican production increased 22.3% on the year with increased demand for models such as the Nissan Sentra and Tiida.
In the United Kingdom, production increased even more to 34.7% up to almost 40,000 units with more demand for the Nissan Juke as well as the Qashqai. Spain production increased 72.4% with increased demand of the Primastar and the NV200. China production increased to nearly 70,000 units with more demand for the Sunny. This is a new record for Nissan for the month of February, and Nissan has been in the Chinese market for a number of years. Nissan sales have been up as the company has taken larger market shares from competitors like Toyota and has benefited from a long series of high quality automobile releases. Nissan exports have increased from Japan as well with a 7.8 percent increase from where they were in 2010.
