Infiniti Hopes Moves will Bring More than Modest Returns;
Infiniti has made some big moves by offering a performance vehicle line, and the company is hoping to continue to offer its vehicle line that will be competing with Honda Dealer Jackson and other dealerships throughout the country. Infiniti’s latest changes are part of a marketing campaign by Vice President Ben Poore, and the company will be offering luxury performance sedans to help it compete with automakers likes BMW and Mercedes who both have a line of performance sedans.

The new luxury performance sedan has 100 horses less power than the brand’s top seller. It may or may not be the major upgrade that Infiniti needs for increased sales. Ben Poore thinks that this will definitely be the next move that Infiniti needs to bring the brand to the next level. Infiniti took steps to increase the brand’s exposure and sales. The company will be looking to market to different niches including the sports enthusiast niche with its performance models.
Infiniti made an announcement of the Infiniti Performance line at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance classic auto show surrounded by millionaires. The Performance line will be in competition with the Audi S line, the Mercedes AMG line, and the BMW M line, which are all popular performance luxury lines by these respective automakers. The Infiniti performance model is called the G Coupe and it received only an extra 18 horsepower in the move.
