Infiniti reported its sales for April, and sales have declined 6.3 perent for April compared to 2010. A few Infiniti models have been in less demand, however the QX which can be found at a Boston Infiniti Dealership had strong sales numbers for the month. Infiniti models have been up and down in sales for this year, and Infiniti is looking to continue to expand its marketing campaigns to gain more sales. Infiniti had a strong March however and the company broke several records for sales at Boston Infiniti Dealers and other local dealerships.

Infiniti’s latest new models are some of the best that the company has offered yet, but there are a number of quality used models that can be purchased from a Salisbury Used Car Dealer. Infiniti reported sales of 6,761 units for the month of April which was a 6.2 decrease compared to the last April where 7,211 units were sold. Part of the explanation for the decrease may be due to rising gas prices as well as high sales from competitors like Mercedes and BMW. The QX had sales of 976 units which was a substantial increase of 73.7 percent compared to last year, and the QX looks to be a potentially highly profitable model for the company.

Other models that did well include the G Sedan which had sales of 2,588 in April which was an increase of 21 percent, and shows that there remains a growing interest in Infiniti sedans. The company as a whole has sold 34,597 units for 2011 up until now, which is a substantial increase of 11.9 percent compared to last year, and shows strong signs of growth for Infiniti. Marketing campaigns that the company launched last year and this year have seemed to pay off, and Infiniti looks to continue to raise sales expectations with new models. Infiniti has done better in sales with better management and new models.

Infiniti Boston is now carrying the all new, 2011 Infiniti G.  It was ranked number 7 out of 21 Upscale Midsize Cars.  With all the competition out there offering several engine choices Infiniti decided to step it up.  For 2011, Boston Infiniti Dealer is making the G25, which has a 2.5 liter V6 that is able to generate 218 horsepower.  Then there is also the G37, which carries a 3.7 liter V6 and generate 330 horsepower.

Infiniti offers a very nice and extensive protection package.  It consists of a four year or 60,000 mile basic warranty and a six year or 70,000 mile powertrain and roadside assistance.  They also offer the Total Ownership Experience Program.  This program has several benefits that go way beyond a normal warranty package.  The dealer will provide a complimentary loaner vehicle whenever the G requires a warranty repair.  Also if a problem occurs more than a 100 miles from your home, Infiniti will cover certain “trip interruption expenses”, which include transportation, lodging and meals for the driver and passenger. 

The G also comes with a long list of safety features.  Some of them include; front, front side and full length head curtain airbags.  It also comes standard with anti-whiplash active head restraints for front seat passengers, four wheel anti-lock breaks, traction control and electronic stability control.  Infiniti also offers a Technology package.  This package has a preview braking which uses forward looking laser sensors to detect when a vehicle is approaching the rear of another vehicle and will prime the brakes with additional power in anticipation of a panic stop.  It will also cinche the safety belts during sudden braking.  This package can be added to the Journey, Sport and AWD models, but is not, however, is not available on the base model.

American Express and Infiniti are collaborating on an advertising and marketing campaign for the Infiniti brand. Time, Inc. will also be collaborating with Infiniti on a digital media campaign called the “Road to Inspiration” which will take place from May to November. There will be a number of events and customer experiences, and some of those events will be presented by Cooking Light, Food & Wine, Southern Living, Sunset, Travel + Leisure, and other magazines. Nissan has issued a recall for almost 200,000 Infiniti and Nissan SUV models due to a defect that may cause the vehicles to rust. The latest Infiniti models can be purchased from an Infiniti Dealership Arlington, and the recall only affects 1997-2003 Infiniti QX4 SUV models as well as the 1996-2004 Nissan Pathfinder. The models are affected by a potential problem with resting that can result from exposure to heavy road salt which could find its way into the struts. In January the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration conducted a test on Nissan and Infiniti SUV rust issues and the agency found that there could be rust problems that develop into steering problems which can result in a serious accident. There were 35 cases of severe rusting reported to the agency with 18 vehicles having steering problems that resulted from the rusting. The investigation has turned into a recall, and there are a total of 195,991 Pathfinder and QX4 models that will be recalled.

The states that the recall is being issued in have heavy snow fall in which salt and brine is used to clear the snow from the roads. There is a location hole in the front upper struting that can be exposed to the elements and allow salt to seep in. Moisture can reach the surface of the strut housing and the combination of water and salt can cause the strut housing to rust away and in some cases the steering column can break.
